I said at the time that when MM went so to should have Chambers and Skuse etc they were clearly very fond of MM and any manager coming in after was going to struggle with the same players that held authority. PH basically told them you have to earn it with me before I let you have the authority and it backfired and they essentially downed tools. PL came in and made no difference whatsoever in fact had a worse PPG record then Hurst and I personally think until Chambers Skuse Sears and maybe one or two others are gone we have no chance of breaking this voodoo that is currently over the club. I barely notice Chambers during the game now giving any sort of instructions or encouragement as he did under the MM reign.

Chambers criticised Mick and his style of football after he left. I’m sure he’d have been happy to work with a new manager if they hadn’t been so hopeless.
