In general, why is training with the U23's still even a punishment? 17:25 - Feb 19 with 529 views

In the cases where the players deserve punishment - the U23's players have to be exposed to a player they need not be influenced by (in that moment of time)

In the cases where the players don't deserve punishment - the U23's are in an environment they are seen as undersirable.

Always an odd practice, and one I have never particularly cared for.

At ITFC, it's definitely not one - they're almost certainly getting a far better standard of coaching.

It's a genius plan, what we do is slowly move everyone to the U23s until the entire first team squad is there.

Then when Lambert has no-one left to play, Kieron is in charge by default.

Nolan and Jackson having last laugh. Probably on above average wages for this level and training a few times a week with the u23 and then u18.
