There was trouble all over the country that night. A weird kind of simultaneous reaction. Ipswich was one of the places that made the main news (possibly mainly due to the SBR link) as well as Grantham (Thatcher's birthplace). I think I'm right in saying some guy got badly done in Brighton for driving a BMW.

Can't remember that particular incident WC90, but I can remember seeing TV news footage of an Audi getting done at Trafalgar Square

I worked with a bloke in 2004 who claimed it was him in an A8, unless there's another Audi that gets done that looks like a 100 Avant(?)

There's now been more than twice as many years since that conversation as the period between that night and that conversation.
