I think we have to get away from thinking that these players are being offered up because they aren't good enough.

Some of them are good players, some of them have a lot of potential but ultimately for whatever reason it isn't working for them here. They've all had two chances at getting out of this terrible league and failed, with none of them really standing out at any point. It is completely right to have a clear the decks summer - if Downes, Dozzell, Woolfenden or whoever else decide they want to be here and tear it up in pre-season then that is absolutely brilliant. If not, they are part of the rot and should go with the rest of them.
