Imagine literally celebrating being ruled by corruption because every now and then they say/do some heartless punch-down BS towards the same groups of people you hate based on a poor understanding of social-economical factors? No wonder Farage, Tommeh Yackity Yack Lennon and the Trumps are still at it, it’s an endless gold mine of idiots to exploit both in voting policies to punch themselves in the genitals and/or easy to extract donations by playing the fear card. But we get TimTams from Australia now so ðŸ‘* *FTR, no idea WTF a TimTam is. [Post edited 3 Oct 2021 23:06]

A timtam is basically a Penguin biscuit, only it costs a fiver for 8 bar rather than about 80p.

So a bourbon biscuit coated in chocolate. So our trade deal has got us more branded versions of stuff we already have, but this one has the added carbon footprint of miles.

Was gonna add another LOL point but I think those two things are literally the only thing that’s changed that the Leave campaign can legit talk about. Speaking of Leave, the Twitter account is now constantly tweeting race-bait stuff relating to countries outside the UK. Fash gonna fash.

Two comments from someone down under: - Had to renew our British passports and they came through last week. Forgot they were going to be the new blue UK ones. Didn't realise that my Brexit resentment was only suppressed rather than gone because I'm still f***ing furious five days later. Thank god I can travel on my Australian passport because this UK piece of sh1t is a constant reminder of the small minded idiocy of 37% of the adult population in the UK (and frustratingly the apathy of 28% of the adult population). - A Tim Tam is not just an Australian Penguin or a Bourbon covered in chocolate. It is a thing of beauty, a work of art, possibly the finest chocolate based biscuit on the planet. The UK should count itself lucky that they are getting easier access to them.

The causes of the fuel shortage are a lack of drivers, the reasons for which are well documented, at least in the parts of the press which aren't blind cheerleaders for the government: poor pay and conditions, changes to tax rules which penalise self-employed drivers,1 all of which are exacerbated by Brexit.

Are there a lack of drivers as standard HGV drivers cannot transport fuel. The week before there were plenty of drivers with the additional license requirements to deliver as much fuel as we needed.

I have no reason to believe it isn’t a lead to follow. I have no reason to not suspect the dodgy mates rates contracts aren’t sill flying out. Probably went to Serco lol, they seem to do more work than the actual government these days.

You did not understand what I was saying. Yes there is a shortage of HGV drivers. But not HGV drivers who have the required additional license to transport fuel. They was enough of them the preceding weeks until the media driven panic buying created mayhem. Maybe some have been tempted away to higher paid standard HGV jobs. That article touched on it "We also asked for more detail about Mr Shapps’ figure that the UK is short by only a few hundred fuel tanker drivers specifically. The DfT told us it couldn’t provide any more detail on the number as it was commercially sensitive."
