Looks like he has marked all of the homework and as a result kenlock, Nsiala and Barry have been expelled wth Holy, Nolan and Jackson soon to follow.

While I do like the nickname "The Teacher"*, I think the analysis is perhaps a little harsh.

* It suits his manner and analytical approach.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

If you change managers and personable at a Club, you will always get differing opinions regarding the staff under that manager, and likely changes. This is why constant changes of manager rarely end well. I hope ( and actually trust) McKenna will buck that trend. What he’s doing is fine tuning the squad to facilitate a TEAM. Cook wasn’t able to assemble all the parts into a functioning team. It cost him his job.

A skilful coach/manager will make the team better than the sum total of the individual players

McKenna is the first one in a while who looks like he may be able to do that
