Best ITFC passing/posession team since Burley? 21:58 - Feb 12 with 759 views | burnbudgiesburn | I think it probably is, Royles team were a little more direct. MK came to PR early in the season and had 60% possession and had us chasing shadows a little, we didn't quite reverse that today but I would be amazed if they have had less of the ball all season. It's also making us a lot more defensively solid. And our defence is not built on balls to the wall defending but starving the oppo of the ball. We do take risks at the back and now and again it will cost us but for me it's the way to go. Just need a bit more up front in the goalscoring department, and maybe a willingness to go longer or put in more first time crosses against teams that come to PR and park the bus. Will be interesting to see if we play against this better than the Gills game twice next week. | | | | |
