Gav's mention of the old scoreboard animation reminded me of this.
Does anyone remember the old Giles (I assume they were his?) drawings that used to be used for the guidance/regulations signs that Ipswich Buses used to use? I have a vague memory of there being one advising of the need to signal one's intent at request stops, with a whole host of Giles characters using railway signals, umbrellas, newspapers etc., to try and flag down a bus.
I recall another one which advised of the 'no smoking' bylaw, which I think featured someone smoking in court, with the judge reaching over with scissors to cut the cigarette in half?
Does anyone else remember these? Are there any images of them anywhere online? |  |
