Fortnite has been donating the proceeds of in-game purchases for the last couple of days (not sure exactly how long). Anyway, just had a game and they said this amounts to $36m US - blimey!!!! Alot of people buying digital tat out there (me including on behalf of my boy). Shocking really.

My boy just got his first battle pass yesterday!! Considering the game was down for over half the day yesterday that 32m is staggering!!! Well done fortnite.

You're right - it was down a lot over the weekend. Blimey. Maybe lots of parents giving in to purchases at long last knowing its really a donation, I spose.

Similarly, you can get a "Humble Bundle" of lots of games, software, graphic novels and some 3d printable models with the entire purchase price going to charities helping in Ukraine. The selection has a lot of niche stuff and probably some dross, but it's worth it even just for 3 or 4 of the high quality games.
