WAs hearing on the Today programme yesterday that Russia have banned Facebook and Insta because of 'extremist' material on it.
Which is fair enough, given that they've paid for a lot of it to be there. |  |

I was just reading that before you posted.
The whole saga is insane isn't it. From being charged with breaking bail whilst in hospital recovering from a poisoning to this latest made-up nonsense to keep him quiet and out of the way.
It must wash with a number in Russia though for them to get away with it, although looking through that thread regarding Putin's personal security you can also see why some people's fantasies of someone taking him out are just that, a fantasy. |  |

Although Putin apparently sacked 1,000 of those charged with guarding him as his paranoia appears to be increasing. There was something where one of the 'DJs' at that big parade thing last week was identified as working for the security establishment.
Not sure if it actually convinces anyone within Russia, but it serves as a warning. There are plenty in the West, we've seen it on here over the years, directly plugged into regurgitating Russian propaganda. | |
