Thanks for your thoughts, incidentally I just watched that video as Sitters posted it.

Talking of nights out - I really should have made the effort to come and see you as I've been down your way a bit of late as we have been moving warehouse from Blandford Forum and I've been down there a bit and also seeing people in Soton as well, you're in Ringwood aren't you?

What has happened to your mate who had that nice shop and took me for some money?

Thankfully he didn't take us for much, it was under a grand anyway.

Worthing eh? For some weird reason we have a disproportionately large amount of customers in Brighton so I might pop down at some point, our paths may indeed cross.

It's ok, the biggest problem is getting stock over and many parts of China are in lockdown again - including Shanghai, and Shanghai is the only port we can ship from.

All in all though I think we are doing ok - but we are about to hit a massive cash crunch as we now have to pay up front as the factories are skint. We have a container in today as it goes and the freight is still nuts ($36,000) and it's costing me £1,800 to get it delivered from Soton to Burton on Trent.

Inflation???? I have been moaning about freight prices for a year on here now, so much so that I have even bored myself. Seeing that freight rates have quadrupled worldwide it's no wonder everything is going up in price. Much of the worldwide inflation is a direct result of profiteering by shipping companies.

I agree with you that a lot of the current inflation is basically profit making and some suppliers taking the 'p'!!

I think it could be a tough old year or so many people because of it
