Deserved.

Completely unnecessary for a friendly and a clear yellow all day long.

Aluko sent him for a hot dog, turned him on the half way line, and as he got away from Downes he just kicked out at Aluko to trip him.

Really pathetic and petulant foul given West Ham had five players back and it’s not like Aluko was about to play someone in on goal. The foul was booed more than Downes personally.
