I know it's not ground breaking or anything doesn't really matter now, but it was bugging me that town were deemed to have not been to bothered about simpson, but the knee injury keeping him out until the new year isn't new and indeed he suffered from it when KM was looking to get him into first team training

Absolutely what happens after is still a case of not knowing the full story on both sides.... but clearly there's been an issue with it, so it's not really suprising town didn't bend over backwards is it? I'd also add knee injuries can be a career changer, and if simpson loses any of that power ability, it's game over at high level isn't it?
