Town had 64% possession and at times in the first half looked great on the ball, and moved it around really well

But we were completely toothless. Weds 11 shots with 4 on target; Ipswich 10 shots zero on target. The owls were able to cut into us.

But we are a different team this year, and Morsy plays!!

Last year we had

––Donacien-Wolf-Edmundson
Burns––––––––––––Thompson
–––––Mizouni–Bakinson
––––Chaplin–––-Celina
––––––––-Bonne

Thompson had nothing going forward; Bonne was completely out of form.
We relied solely on Burns for flair. Celina was in and out of the game.

We didn’t hand Morsy and Evans.

So despite giving a fairly good but toothless display last season we turn up Davis, Harness, Morsy, Evans, Ladapo… all upgrades!!!

Both teams have strengthened since last year, so it could be a similar contest. My only slight worry is that taking the game to Wednesday actually might suit them. First goal is crucial. COYBs!!!!
