Real Living Wage & Football Clubs 12:51 - Sep 26 with 646 views | Zx1988 | Interesting read here about Premier League clubs and their relationship with the Real Living Wage: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62996172 I was also surprised to see that there are only two non-PL clubs within the wider EFL that are Living Wage Foundation accredited; Luton and Grimsby. Do Ipswich pay the Real Living Wage, and just don't bother with accreditation? It seems like a bit of an oversight from a PR point of view if not. If the club don't pay the RLW, or just haven't publicly mentioned it, has it been discussed at one of the Fans' Forums or suchlike? The Living Wage Foundation accredits according to the hourly rates paid, rather than an income level. | |
