Hi all,
Due to the rail strikes I'm staying over in Ipswich for Friday and Saturday night.
Can anyone recommend the best places for drinks on Friday/Saturday night and/or pre-match Saturday?
Or even better, would be out anyway and wouldn't mind taking a lone Welsh ITFC fan along too!

As man Lucan says, Arcade Tavern is decent. Spread Eagle a very good pub too now; they had someone in there DJing a load of Northern Soul the last Friday I was in, which was good.
You've got the Botanist and Three Wise Monkeys, both of which are reasonable enough, if a bit bland.
The Gallery does very good cocktails, as does The Forge.
Swan and Hedgehog not bad pre/post game, be sure to wear all of your Stone Island, though.
Cricketers is excellent if you fancy a load of cack falling onto your table.
