German author who pulled no punches and told the whole rotten deal as it was.
Anti-propaganda and all that.
I have seen both the original and the 1970s films at some point or another but a long time ago. Looking forward to the latest version.

I haven't seen the film, but reading a history of the campaigns in Belgium and the Netherlands, it seems that Montgomery doesn't come out of that period very well?
