Interesting this, there have long been suggestions that Usmanov is actually the real owner of Everton and at least a silent partner/large provider of funds for Moshiri's take over.

All alleged and unsubstantiated of course.

I work for large finnancial services firm (not BDO) and opaqueness of ownership is a massive red flag, though if that is one of the issues that BDO have concerns about then one must ask why they are only raising them now.

I can't believe they've lost a quarter of a BILLION pounds in two years.

One does wonder where all the money comes from and why. Marty Byrde never built a football stadium, but it might have been a good idea...
