Car parking scam. on 14:53 - Dec 5 with 1385 views | stonojnr | first time parking at one of those carparks recently, I cannot believe how much of a faff they are vs just putting some coins in a machine. presumably the reason why the sign telling you all the details was about 9ft off the ground is to stop ne'er do wellers from tampering with it, does make it tricky to read in the dark...with no street lights though. tbf on the QR codes scam, that applies to all of them you ever see around, always be wary of them for that reason

Car parking scam. on 15:23 - Dec 5 with 1300 views | SlippinJimmyJuan | Beware any car park operated by APCOA. They remove the existing machines when they take over and operate a really shoddy web only system. It is very temperamental and hard to navigate on a mobile, made worse by the fact that nearly all of their car parks have terrible signal for mobile data.

Yeah, we've got to stop shopping at the places which don't accept cash. The implications of a cashless society are potentially diabolical.
