but rather than just feeling overwhelmingly happy, I'm also finding myself even more annoyed by the Fleetwood result and some of the other parts of our play that I find frustrating, specifically, the inability to maintain a lead to half time, it's a recurring theme of the season so far and one we could really do with stamping out.
Still, it's a win and currently top of the table and having Aluko back is a right result, one that's obviously tainted by the Donacien injury, but he's been struggling for a few weeks now and IMO has been pushed too hard and should have been rested, especially given our current injury plight and the fact that KVY is fit and up to speed, think we've brought that one on ourselves tbh.

Know what you mean. In my head, we should be something like 10 points clear of second.
Football doesn't work like that though and to be top in mid Dec, I think we'd have all snapped hands off for that.
Incidentally, I know its a way off yet but when was the last time we were top of a division at Christmas? I don't think even in 91-92 that we were. I think Blackburn were, then had a major slump. |  |

I think we were 7th at Christmas and we beat Blackburn at PR over the Christmas period and went on a run, they fell away a bit after that |  | | |
