Just got home from the local park, top of a hill with a great view of London Eye. Quite a crowd of young people having fun, many with fireworks, including some clown who set one off on a really low trajectory. Ears still ringing.

Hope you enjoyed. On the TV the fireworks looked absolutely stunning. They no doubt wound up some right wingers with their blatant nods to love/compassion, climate change, Pride and gay rights, etc. But for the rest of us with a soul it was spot on and looked amazing. The Queen was obvious and nicely done. I was expecting something for the NHS workers, but didn’t see anything (I could have missed it, I’ve been more sober). |  |
