Happy new year Guthers.

And everyone else too.

I have in my head an old [American?] chap who was known for his Haaa-py new year 'catchphrase' from a time gone by.

Not much of a catchphrase but he had a distinct way of shouting it and I'm sure I heard it a few years in a row when I was a kid.

Chat show host? Might have been before my time and at the end of a much played classic film.

Was wearing a suit and a trilby type hat maybe.

Any ideas anyone?

HNY folks, let's hope 2023 is a blue and white champagne soaked one!

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Don't know that one, but in my childhood it was Andy Stewart and Scottish dancing.

I thought it might be Jimmy Durante but when I typed 'happy new year greeting from old american comedian' into YouTube's search bar the first result was Kim Jong-Un...
