Best game he has had for us today , slightly wobbly to start , but unsettled their back line with grit and determination, and looked far better than he has done thus far , as regard the whole team , that penalty miss messed with our heads and we started to crumble , score it and we go on to Win IMO , could quite have easily dominated like we did in 2nd half …….. that miss was defining . | | | |

That’s also what Mick Mills thinks - i think that Wednesday only made two subs? He made the sensible point that actually the system had only been working for about 30 minutes when the subs came and we slightly conceded the advantage at that point.
I would also say that this loss of momentum also coincided with the time that their player went down for a “head injury”. That was clearly tactical. Maybe we should have done that after the first goal… | | | |
