Burgess. 11:24 - Mar 5 with 725 views | BanksterDebtSlave | Solid performance again and that goal saving challenge was a thing of beauty. Also, don't think we will see Keogh again now that his total lack of pace has been exposed unless we are defending a lead late on in a match.

Probably started the season as fourth choice when Keogh signed I know Woolf has a lot of suitors but if Edmundson has a route back into the team.... I'd prefer it at Woolf's expense. I genuinely think Burgess has improved a lot with his passing without being acknowledged as a ball-playing CB. He seems to know his strengths and limitations. Edmundson should take note. It's amazing how often Burgess is the one who gets his head to the ball when it's swung into our area.

I actually think he's looking to clear it more in keeping with his style than play it out every time and I think this is helping him. I still think Edmundson is better on the ball and may be better in the Championship but Burgess is earning his place at the moment. Keogh should be nowhere near the pitch again, he will become a coach I guess. SB

He seems to be half decent at pinging some passes too at times but in the mold of Wilson and Iorfa sometimes just doing the basics well is what really matters.
