A good performance and dealt with what had to be done. A boost to a great squad of players at this club.

Yesterday's team was close to our strongest team . Some players will be unlucky sitting on the bench. It is obviously not a time to be putting out a defensive team or formation.

The last 20 years has not been that good so us fans must be well happy what is happening at this club. A miraculous turn around . It underlines what a clueless mess Marcus Evans made of this club.

Leigh has always looked good. Very unlucky not to be a first choice player. We might struggle to hold on to players like him who are too good to be back ups.

He's a quality back up for us at this level. And I don't think anyone would be too concerned if he had to play a few games, if Davis isn't fit.. I wasn't overly concerned yesterday when the team was announced.. Only thing I'll say, is that Davis brings more in attack, and set pieces, which has been a very good source of goals for us this season. Greg brings some good old solid physical defending, good pace and has a bit more airially. And he has always looked brave to me.He isn't scared of a challenge or two. I thought he was a better , physical, match up against Mendez Laing, than Davis would have been. Almost the perfect kind of game for him..
A far cry from last year's LB/LWB options..We always knew it was a position that needed addressing in the Summer.
They certainly did that...
