Exeter and Charlton sold out

If we sell out Port Vale on a Tuesday night then our club and its fan base has come further than any other time in the club’s history

Yes we had record crowds back in the 70’s and sell out crowds in the premiership but we were playing top opposition with the likes of Beckham Henry Bergkamp Sherringham Gerrard Lampard to name a few

Where have all our fans come from. I sense a lot of the older fans have rengaged with the club but saw a lot of younger fans at the game as well

If we sell 21,000 season tickets wow,!!!!!

How many season tickets holders were there in 2000/01 does anyone know?

All this when money is tight as well guess it goes to show giVe people what they want and they will respond

ST capped at 18k in 2000/1. There were 2000 available via ballot for each match to members and 2k for aways fans. Capacity 22k.

What size does our ground need to be?

35,000?

Yes. This is the perfect number in my opinion.

Just managed to get a PV ticket but very few left, although expect RV seats yet to be released and additional ‘away’ blocks as per Wycombe. Will surely be close to a sell out though.

"Where have all our fans come from?" - East Anglia is the fastest growing area of the UK after London. Grown 15.4% since 2002: https://www.plumplot.co.uk/East-of-England-population-changes.html

Plus we have a huge catchment area. Just under 1m people live within 40km of FPR. That's more than live near Norwich. Check for yourself: https://www.freemaptools.com/find-population.htm
Only Colchester are within it.

If we're filling 30k in L1, then we're gonna need a bigger boat if we want to catch a growing haul.

Yes I reckon 35-40k. There will always be the good time fans come to games especially if we get back to the promised land . Not sure what an average PL match ticket price would be but that extra 5k (taking gate to 40k), could represent a substantial additional income.
