Yep - and those two games (Morecambe and Port Vale) are the only times we've come back from conceding the first goal to win this season. Won 2 (Morecambe A, Port Vale H) Draw 5 (Bolton H, Portsmouth A, Lincoln A, Cambridge A, Sheffield Wednesday H) Lost 3 (Lincoln H, Wycombe A, Oxford A) We took the lead at Plymouth before conceding twice.

I think McKenna’s post match comments echo that. Yes, we definitely showed grit tonight. That can only be a good thing, though my nerves would have preferred a 5-0 job. [Post edited 18 Apr 2023 23:19]

gritty win tonight on 23:43 - Apr 18 with 396 views | BigCommon | Didn't like it, it was horrible. But always felt we'd do enough in the end... I actually think a win like that will do us good. Keep us on our toes.... I don't think we were at our best .And credit to Vale, who did what they did to make it difficult..But, maybe, if we'd have won easily tonight, especially off the back of Saturday's 6-0, then we could've possibly slipped into "easy mode" ahead of Posh... Good 3pts, and a bit of a reminder of how to dig deep and find a way... Let's not forget, Vale beat Plymouth at Home Park. So it's a tricky one ticked off, imo.. Hopefully just reign a few fans in a bit, too... The 6 nils are great. But toughing it out for 3pts against s/housers, is what gets you promoted. Signing players Like Massimo and Broadhead has given us that little bit extra needed to edge these ones, now...... FFS, let's get out of this division. Parts of that game, tonight, were everything I hate about L1.
