Wow, what an amazing performance that was. Weathered the early Barnsley storm and gave them a 1-2 punch right before half time.

- Walton was brilliant. Came for claims at the right time and was good with his feet. Has been brilliant after his little blip mid season.
- Davis' delivery is ridiculous. Has developed into the best left back in the league.
- Wolf and Burgess continue dominating. I did think that Wolfie could have dealt with a few situations slightly better, but that's a nitpick. Burgess is a beast.
- Clarke is a ridiculous athlete. He's got that dynamism going forward that JD lacks at times. I did think he was a little loose with the ball, but again, that's a nitpick.

- Morsy is the best player in this league. Underappreciated first touch. Keeps it simple. Never gives anyone time on the ball. Goes on ridiculous marauding runs through the midfield. He's genuinely been a joy to watch this season. How he never go that yellow card that would have seen him suspended, I'll never know.
- Luongo is like a Morsy replica but with slightly more balletic skill. Another wonderful player when on top form.

- Burns' workrate is ridiculous. Every game he's up and down that wing. The end product is not always right, but what a workhorse he is.
- Broadhead is quality. Has a little bit of flair about him. He's a space creator but also has the vision and ability to pass through balls. Wonderful signing.
- Chaplin has improved immeasurably since the start of this year. He's been coached extremally well and his finishing is exceptional.

- Hirst gave an old school type of forward performance last night. His goal was perhaps my favourite goal of the season. Wonderful performance and you can see why Mck wanted him.

Shout out to Greg Leigh who looked perfectly capable when he came on and is a very tidy passer of the ball.

The other subs did what was needed. Harness actually held on to the ball quite well.

Wonderful performance in a big, big game. I genuinely think with a few tweaks, we could be pushing top 6 in the Championship next season.

I think I scared my dog when Hirst scored as she ended up about 7ft high with me swinging her around. She realised Ipswich had scored and the tail started wagging haha!

Let's do the business against Exeter and have promotion guaranteed before the last day.

COYB.

One of Walton'c claims last night was ridiculously good, was basically falling backwards and got over 3 players to catch it.
Incredible.

Poll: Will Paul Lambert be Ipswich Town manager on the final day of this season ?
