We've always said going up through the playoffs is the best 10:00 - May 2 with 724 viewsnodge_blue

But after Saturday Im not so sure. Going up at home. With the crowd like they were. The whole day around Portman road and the town.

Im not sure that the day at Wembley was better. Not that Im down playing how that was.

But honestly I think Saturday was as good. Certainly less stressful after 45 minutes.

Are you saying that going up through the play-offs is best, for atmosphere because I'm not sure anyone would rather go through that than simply get automatic promotion!?!?

I'm quite happy to have maintain record of, what is it, 4 teams, to have not played at the new Wembley!

I was just thinking about how often players and fans say there is no better way to go up than by winning the playoffs. Because of the pure thrill of winning a cup final game at Wembley.

But after Saturday Im not sure I agree with that.

Having a home match to win and go up was just as good.

It's a moot point. Not sure why I wrote it. Time for a coffee.
