this week, both Sunderland and our boys, my days.
No point trying to autopsy that I don't think, rollercoaster of a game, but we secured the 3 points, first day back, away to Sunderland, we just do take those results.

If I were to say one thing, it's that we still need another 2 or 3 bodies, attrition is going to be an even bigger factor than last season and I think we need a bit more quality to start/bring on, to impact a game, we were weakened by our subs yesterday and that's not desirable.

Amazed we came through that without injury (apart from Davis cramp), as that was a serious 'step-up' in physicality from League One and our pre-season.
I've said it a few times.. I doubt whether we'll face a better side and aggressive press than Sunderland showed.

I think they are bigger tests ahead.
Watching the games yesterday all sides involved were brutal in their pressing.
Its an exciting season ahead. There won't be any games where one side controls the game without the other being dangerous. |  |

I'm not sure if we have, or not? I think there'll be quite a few sore bodies after that, as you say, it was a high intensity game for the most part. Ironically, probably the worst injury was inflicted by Hladky on poor old JD. | |

Good point. Some injuries don’t come through till the following day.
