Just how does the magnificent BBC journalist Rushdi Abualouf manage to keep reporting in such a composed and professional way from Gaza, whilst looking after himself and his family? I can't express just how much admiration I have for that bloke.

And at the other end of the spectrum, this columnist still has this tweet up. You’d think after being called a liar over 100 times he might have responded. Or found details of the police report of the mysterious attacker who was detained overnight. He’s gone strangely quiet after making such a bold claim.

Oh, he’s great, isn’t he? There was a moment during last night’s News at 10 report when there was a nearby shell and he stopped and winced and you were thinking “this could be bad!” and then he just carried on.

I have so much respect for this bloke. Just heard him reporting again through a nearby airstrike, and calmly carrying on with his informative and objective journalism.
