Using the values to excuse today 18:19 - Dec 23 with 804 views | textbackup | Not a real fan of that, we were poor all round, failed to turn up. But it fills me with some weird sense of relief that I’m pretty sure KM (behind closed doors) points out a few truths to some today. Sone big players for us shrunk and hid, which I didn’t think we’d see with these lads. Leeds were just miles better than us, which I’m cool with, but the lack of character (imo) is the thing that hurts today. Anyway, on to Leicester

Using the values to excuse today on 18:50 - Dec 23 with 638 views | ITFCSG | Its not losing but rather the manner in which we lost that makes it feel like a punch in the gut. The 3-4 loss at home didn't feel so bad because we were up for it and actually played decent football. 4-0 scoreline made it even worse, and it could have easily been 7 or 8 if Leeds had their shooting boots on. Not going to mince any words, today was a shambolic performance for the entire team. Gone were the slick passing and running we see so often. Any pass forward seem to either be cut out or misplaced. Burns, Broadhead, Luongo, even Morsy were anonymous. Chappers besides his shot that struck the woodwork was pretty much invisible as well. Hirst was left stranded up top alone chasing shadows. Clarke and Davis were being tormented by their wingers and struggled. More often than not Leeds seemed to be playing with 12 or even 13 men on the pitch. For the top scorers of the division to have just two shots at goal and zero on target the whole match is unacceptable. Leeds aren't invincible unlike what some people seem to believe. Unlike games which we had came from behind to win or draw, once the own goal went in I knew the game was over. Need to be MUCH better on Tuesday.
