Interesting read. No fall out but Travis asked to go in the summer as wants to play number 6 CDM week in week out. They didn't get a big enough offer (£800k from Millwall). He asked to go again in Oct for this window. Assume fact they were planning and knowing he would move on has led to lack of game time for first time this season.

The strange thing here though is he's not going to play ahead of Morsy. Maybe he is looking to break in ahead of Luongo or seeing the challenge to win a move here knowing Mass and Morsy are getting on. In which case fair play to him.

Who is looking for a story? Discussion on a new signing and zero suggestion of bad egg. If you read what I wrote it is more explaining why he didn't play as much (I e. Rather than him not performing). I believe JDT not a major fall out. I just think didn't feel he was going to play where or how he wanted to under JDT. Probably had a grown up chat.

I don't see any negatives to this one
