Thought we did ok, got some good minutes into legs, no major injuries, no great surprises.
Freddie has probably already left hasn't he? Silly to over analyse everything, but nothing went his way in numerous half chances. Broady as a 9 will work for short periods of a game but I'm not sure he's got 90 mins in him, let alone there.
Lots of gaps in the away end and most of the front row empty for a sold out game but some sat there, no idea how the atmosphere was but sounded really quiet to me. Maybe it just wasn't a game for excitement but one goal ruled out, a decent penalty shout and 3 goals is quite enough discussion points.
Sarmiento looks like he's going to fit in really well too. Gave Humphreys confidence to attack with 10 men and him as his outlet which I took heart from. Was weird how the commentator kept making it out to be some sort of David and Goliath match when we struggling against teams like this and players they had in their side not so long ago! |  |
