Cricket: A bit too much to do for England 08:06 - Feb 5 with 827 viewsSteve_M

269/7, needing 130.

Although India's dissent at a DRS decision going against them suggests they are a little rattled.

Needs something heroic again doesn't it?

That was never likely.

England have been behind since Day 1 in this one but kept going, Jaiswal's 200 quite definitive.

Indeed - always on the back foot.

Lots of starts in that innings as well. Everybody down to 9 gets to double figures. Just needed a good couple of partnerships.

Was the same in both India's innings. Apart from Gill's hundred & & Jaiswal's 200, no other Indian batsman reached 50, although most got a start. Must have been that kind of pitch - not impossible, but one where you were never truly "in". I would like to see England play a 2nd seamer rather than 3 spinners plus Root.
