Ipswich have given us many great performances this season 07:39 - Apr 8 with 563 views | carlisleaway | Put the Budgie result behind us, it is the fans time to lift the team for the next 2 home games Who would have thought we would be in this position at the start of the season. COYB

But to have such a great season and yet concede 4 points out of 6 to the Budgies hurts especially when man for man we are a better team. Don't know what it was about that game at Carrot Road, but we seemed like it was an after the lord mayors show of the Saints game. We hadn't come down from it and all over the pitch normally players that we can totally rely on Chappers, Broadhead, Hutchinson, Loungo none performed. I do believe the International games have had an adverse effect on us. Just too many games in a short space of time and whilst that's why we have a squad many of our most influential players were on International duty, like Moore who played only hours before and several travelled many miles followed by a trip to Blackburn, followed by the Saints and then an early start against the Budgies. TV must be more tuned in to the needs of players and fans, we may pay for our success by being held to ransom by tv.

I disagree that “man for man we are a better team”. Man for man they have higher quality/more expensive players in most positions but as a team they’re not a patch on us. If McKenna had their squad they’d be up by now. Our strength is as a team and a club built on all the coaching, hard work, togetherness and positivity that’s been created. They are an underperforming group of players who very often this season have been less than the sum of their parts. [Post edited 8 Apr 10:29]

So glad you put this as I was going to write something similar but it would have probably come across as more critical than intended!
