Did he sign a 3 year deal when he joined or was it a 4 year deal?
I imagine it might be something in the thinking but not something currently in the works to get him tied down longer if it was a 3 year deal. |  |

From memory I think he has one more year and there is the option of a further twelve months if the club take it up, which they obviously would.

In general the club need to extend the contracts for any of the players we want to keep and try and sell the players we won't want to extend their deals.
Obviously the recent signings are excluded, and Luongo seems happy on a 1 year deal. Davis, Chaplin, Burns, Morsy, etc. all need new deals. | | | |

That’s what I was thinking. It’s not an urgent contract to resolve but I think he’s well deserved of a better contract now - which is a win/win for both player and club.
I imagine Burgess will be another with a new and improved contract this summer but I can’t see anyone else getting a new deal.
Nathan Broadhead must be in his final year too? Is there an option with him? | |
