They’ve stunk the tournament out. So dull. They might have one or two decent players but they’re not a team in any shape or form. Southgate? Dear oh dear. Out of date, clinging on to tried and trusted players and methods and has no idea.
Yes, in previous tournaments we’ve reached the latter stages. That’s in spite of him and credit to the players and favourable draws, not him.
The England support was excellent. They deserved much better than that. Their goalie had so little to do; his easiest game in many a match I’m sure. Listening to Kane, he and probably the rest are either in denial or trying to mug off the supporters. Does he really think that was acceptable?
