I like Southgaye, he's a thoroughly decent bloke, but for the last few games his England team have just been so underwhelming. The speed with which so many clubs play (including town) is light years ahead of this England team. And the press is just non existent. We know the players are capable of both so reluctantly I'm coming to the conclusion that maybe the game had moved on passed Southgate, and the club managers are just light years ahead of him tactically.
