TWO years ago today I stood behind the goal at Burton watching Woolfy struggle to deal with Gassan Ahadme in League One, as we earned a hard fought 1-0 win in front of a few thousand. A player we then took a punt on for £100k.
Today we stand on the verge of signing a Man City player who was England's best player a few years back, a Napoli midfielder who starts regularly for Sweden and last seasons 27 goal Championship top scorer. Phillips weekly wages are more than we paid to buy Ahadme.
All whilst looking forrward to Liverpool at home tomorrow in the Premier League where the very same Woolfy will rightly be starting in the top tier after two incredible seasons for the team and for the player.
Madness.

That 2-0 defeat at Charlton was the low point for me..... really thought that was it for me, couldn't see a reason to carry on with going to be miserable!.... so glad I persevered!
