I want to say happy but i'm never happy when we lose, But lets put today it into prospective:
Liverpool are in the top 3 teams in the country and arguably the top 10 in Europe
Walton was great today but not playing out from the back changed our game plan
Our defence played well ,Greaves was superb, Davis won't play against many better players on the left than Salah, which stopped him moving forward as much as he does
Midfield were fine 1st half but clearly struggled in the 2nd But this is why we have Philips and hopefully Cajuste both Internationals to come into the team
Hutch was good and will continue to improve
Szmodics to come into the team to add some threat as sadly i think Chappers is going to struggle this season
I thought Delap looked good, there's not many 21 y/o leading the line in the Prem, he just needs a first goal, hopefully another player to come in too. plus Hirst in about 6 weeks
No one expects us to get anything from Citeh but you never know! but we now have 2 weeks to concentrate on Fulham
The first game back was always going to be tough But i'm Confident for the season ahead!
