Result not what we wanted but not unexpected but some good performances (and areas we need to address). But let's just have a shout out for Walton. A year without football, quite late he's called up to start our first game in the prem in 22 years and I thought he was an absolute credit to himself.

He's a really good goalkeeper. Muric looks the absolute real deal but Walton is such an able deputy. For me he is the better keeper over Hladky but no arguments in terms of why Hladky was playing as he did well. | |

He is, a good #1 in his own right for me. Hope that Muric's injury isn't serious though, I'd be worried if we needed to bring Slicker in given his inexperience.
Was pretty relieved that KM must have given permission to be flexible re playing it out from the back - nothing wrong with a good boot upfield against a side like 'pool! | |
