Not much of a surprise I guess. But... 17:20 - Jan 19 with 579 viewsFrimleyBlue

I don't understand what our plans are in the final third.

For example
Davis isn't one for being able to take a man on. Yet he's our attacking outlet on the left whilst Clarke is tucked in and unable to help as by the time he gets the ball from Davis man City have 2 on him.

On the right we get the ball there but don't really do anything despite bringing 3 players over.

Also. Hutch gets the ball. No one infront of him apart from delap but no diag run to the channel to give Hutch a ball to play.
Defensively. We have 2 players known for not being great defenders playing together and leaving doku acres of space.

Morsy is just a statue and just plodding around. Where is this driving it forward. We miss morsy player people were talking about on Thursday.

Walton. Any reason you're hoofing it when you've got 10 yards of no man City player anywhere near you.

Yes it's man City and yes they have word class players in that side. But I don't feel we are doing the simple things well firstly.

I don't know what our recruitment model is but we've got a host of attacking players who can look fancy with the ball but none of them can spray a ball. Our cb is the best with the ball at his feet and that's not good enough from a prem side.

So Godfrey the defender is not known for being good defensively? And Johnson the wing back from West ham is not a good defensively as our winger Wes Burns, who you slagged of regularly last season.
Tremendous

Regarding recruitment I think we are trying to get the players to join us, who will make a difference, but they don't want to play for us.
Same as the summer but even more difficult to get over the line in January.
We have no real presence in the foreign market.
Strikers tend to all go up to the last day of the window.
But I'm sure we will keep trying.
