Will no-one think of the joined-up thinking? on 16:38 - Mar 28 with 464 views | DJR | There was joined up thinking when key public services were nationalised, And I think it was on the World at One that it was said that the problems were caused by UK steelmakers paying higher costs for energy than in other competitor nations. As it is, with other European nations ramping up defence spending, we may well end up struggling to import steel for defence and other purposes. [Post edited 28 Mar 16:41]

I was hoping for something a bit more contemporaneous! Must have missed the part over higher energy costs. Other countries having much more joined up thinking -> better systems & services = no surprise of course. | |
