Things you will miss about the Premier League 07:48 - Apr 3 with 753 viewsChurchman

As a counterpoint to the excellent ‘won’t miss’ thread, what will you miss, if anything?

For me, the sheer challenge of trying to compete in England’s top division.

Ok, we all know how it’s gone, but watching them walk out against Liverpool first game of the season was something I never thought I’d see again just a few years ago.

That’s about it really - see Dubtractor’s thread.

Been thinking about this. I’m not 100% sure I’ll actually miss anything.

It’s been nice to see some of the top sides and players back at PR, and certainly having a full ground week in and week out, but I then think about the atmosphere at the ground over the last 2 seasons and I think it was better chasing success than battling relegation.

The full ground has been nice to see, not least as a tired old veteran of the under 10k years. Great to see a lot of young people in the ground too. They are the future.

Regarding teams and to slightly contradict my OP, I don’t actually go to games to watch the opposition. Yes, I can say I’ve seen Salah and Haaland etc, but when it comes to it I couldn’t care a less who the opposition is. They’re just 11 ugly people in horrible shirts to compete with and beat (second bit hasn’t gone so well!).
