I read his comments and thought he's another one who ticks the great character box. Sounds like he wants to stay and he's in the prime of his career but happy to wait for the summer for a contract when he could get injured tomorrow.

Some will say that's naïve and he's off but it sounds like he really wants to stay.

I think he's a hard one to read as a quiet reserved man it seems. When I read the article on EADT I thought there was a lack of commitment to saying he wanted to stay making me think he already has offers and made a decision. Think he was careful with words not to over commit one way or the other.

I think he's another waiting to see what happens to KMc. If he stays I think he will be loyal as KMc given him chance and club have looked after him well with injuries. Must be nice to be settled to. If KMc goes I see no way Axel stays.
