Surely if the ref is turning a blind eye, it can’t have the most fouls ever as a foul is only officially a foul when the referee awards it.

There were still 50 fouls over the 120/minutes. Should have been a lot more.
Thought France were hard done by, especially the disallowed goal following VAR. The keeper wouldn’t have responded any differently, when pushing the ball out, if thr player deemed offside and interfering with play hadn’t been there.
German goal keeper was superb. |  |

I would say without the other attacking French forward the German goalkeeper would have dived on the ball, however if the French forward had not moved towards it it would have not been offside either. Doesn’t matter either way as was disallowed. | | | |
