Starting last year, more fixtures in the EFL moved to 12.30 on Saturday due to Sky TV coverage and that will mean more of our games will be early kickoffs this season.
Looking back at our record in lunchtime kick offs in the 23/24 season, I think I’m correct in saying we only picked up 5 points out of a possible 18 with 3 of those being in the final home game v Huddersfield.
Not sure why we performed worse in those games but I’m hoping McKenna has tactics in place to minimise the chances of it happening again this season.
How many were at home? I think I read that home advantage turns out to be less with 12.30 games. (Makes sense to me as the away team has less time kicking their heels at a hotel.)
