Tbf fair 9 have or 100% will and Leif I can’t imagine we will allow to leave in the circumstances, but will possibly want to.
I guess the broader point was relation was sold as progress and a long term step forwards.
Clearly that’s not true and we might struggle to match 23/24 points total, having invested £150 million in the squad.., and the owners would rather exit too.
Still huge quality in the group, but the ‘everything is fine’ mantra hasn’t aged well.

It just demonstrates how far the club has progressed. When we had the pleasure of years of poor championship/ L1 performance nobody wanted our average (and often below average) players.
The club has progressed and now we have quality players that other clubs want.
Plus every club relegated from the Prem has suffered with losing players. It's who you replace them with which is key. |  | | |
