Seemingly a more and more popular tool used by agents for players at clubs at the bottom end of the PL and further down the pyramid.

I wonder if this Isak situation will result in every UK based player, even those at the top of the pyramid having a 'release clause' in a similar way to what exists in Spain. Although since Neymar left, those have occasionally been priced at 1B+.

Not sure it would be great for the game but agents must be looking at this situation saying I better make sure this doesn't happen to my client.

I think even that is being somewhat relaxed. Certainly used to be the case that it was paid in full but most clubs nowadays circumnavigate that by paying fractionally more for better payment terms. Zubimendi & Zirkzee both fairly recent high profile examples.
